Cameraman of Imedi TV, 2 pilots die in fatal hot air balloon crash in Asureti

Three individuals died in a fatal hot air balloon crash near Asureti, Tetritskaro municipality, including Imedi TV channel operator Misho Bidzinashvili and two pilots - Revaz Uturgauri and Polish Krzysztof Zapart.

The air balloon had collided with a high-voltage power line, resulting in the loss of lives of all 3 individuals on the board. The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched a probe into the accident under Article 275 of the Criminal Code, which refers to safety rules violation.

Rustavi 2 expresses its condolences to the colleagues and families of the deceased.
