The Government of Georgia would support Ukraine now and in the future. Such a statement made today Ilia Darchiashvili, the candidate for the position of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

In his comments at a session of a committee in the Parliament, he said that “everyone knows how honorably Georgia has acted in support of the Ukrainians” since the launch of the Russian invasion of the country in early 2022.

“This process will continue in the future”, - he added.

Ilia Darchiashvili also underlined the Government’s support for Ukraine in international organizations amid the ongoing war.
