According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to difficult meteorological conditions (heavy snow, danger of avalanches and limited visibility), the traffic of all types of motor vehicles is prohibited on the section of the Kutaisi (Motsameta) – Tkibuli - Ambrolauri highway of national importance, km44-km46 (Nakerala pass).

Vehicle traffic is free on the remaining sections of the highway.
