The employees of the Department for the fight against Trafficking and Illegal Migration under the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs exposed a criminal scheme of trafficking minors, arrested 2 persons, and pressed charges against one more individual.

N.A. (DoB 1989) is accused of trafficking minors, and O. Ch. (DoB 1981), is arrested for failing to report especially grave crime.

The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.

The conducted investigation established that N.A. developed a scheme of trafficking minors, in order to accomplish the plot for the intent of labor exploitation, he forced his under-aged son to ask for mercy in different districts of Tbilisi by using psychological pressure, and appropriated the collected sum.

Herewith, the investigation established that the grave crime committed by N.A. against his son was known to O. Ch., who was convicted in the past, and B.B. who was in custody at that moment.

The investigation is being conducted in accordance with Article 143, Part II, Sub-paragraph “B” and Article 376, Part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
