The accused was found guilty of murder by the jury. The case pertaining to the murder committed based on mutual dispute was deliberated by the jurors in the Batumi City Court.

During the trial, it was established that on April 23, 2023, at night, in a residential house located in the village of Gantiadi, Khelvachauri municipality, the accused hit the victim with a piece of wood several times in the head due to a mutual dispute. As a result of the injuries, the victim passed away right there.

Prosecutors called witnesses and reviewed all tangible evidence, including video footage of the defendant’s activities and the crime scene, during the trial.

Carefully examining the circumstances of the case in detail, the jury shared the position of the prosecutor’s office and found the accused guilty under Article 108 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder).

The court sentenced the accused to 10 years of imprisonment.
