Snowfall, blizzard conditions, and icy roads are expected in Georgia starting from the end of January 12 to the second half of January 14.
According to the National Environment Agency, a strong westerly wind is expected on January 13, possibly leading to a storm of 3-4 points at sea.
The forecast suggests an intensification of frost during the night hours on January 14-15.
The anticipated drop in air temperature to -3, -5 degrees in the lowlands of Western Georgia may cause damage to citrus crops.
There’s also a possibility of restricting traffic on certain sections of highways.
