The project to be implemented in the vicinity of “Laguna Vere” does not contain any risk, said today Revaz Sokhadze, the Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council’s Urban Planning and City Farming Commission, while commenting the statement of opposition of the City Council about the project planned in the vicinity of “Laguna Vere”.

“On the contrary, the municipality believes that the implementation of this project will be important for the city. There are all kinds of materials confirming this and they are presented in the form of relevant documents in the City Council.

The project has been recommended by the Historical Council, and although the existing building does not have the status of a historical monument, it will still be preserved. As for the traffic direction, within the framework of the project, the mentioned area will be regulated, which will relieve the traffic.

I hope that this project will receive a positive recommendation at the session of the City Council”, - said Revaz Sokhadze.
