On the newly rehabilitated University Street, traffic has been restored in both directions. All types of underground communication networks have been completely replaced and updated.

Rehabilitation was carried out on the 2.5 km section of the road, where several layers of asphalt were laid. Aerial wires were placed in underground cable-channels, a new outdoor lighting network was arranged.

Modern LED lights were installed. A four-lane up-and-down road was drawn. New waiting areas for public transport were organized. Pavement works are being completed.

For the safety of the road, slope protection walls were arranged in certain places. The works, which were financed with GEL 18 million from the budget of the capital, were inspected today by Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
