The employees of Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search measures and investigative actions, detained V.V. (DoB 1976) in Tsalka municipality for premeditated murder.

The committed crime envisions from 10 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person inflicted a fatal injury to E.G. (DoB 1970), with an ax on the basis of a mutual dispute and hid from the place of crime.

As a result of investigative activities conducted by law enforcement officers, V.V. was arrested few hours after the incident.

Police seized the weapon of crime as evidence.

The investigation into the fact of premeditated murder is in progress under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
