Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met with his Hungarian counterpart, Peter Sijarto, within the framework of the OSCE ministerial.

The ministers reviewed the issues of cooperation between the two countries.

Attention was focused on the recommendation of the European Commission on the granting of candidate status to Georgia, as well as on the process of Georgia’s implementation of the recommendations of the European Commission. Hungary’s strong support for the process of Georgia’s EU integration was confirmed once again.

The ministers also reviewed issues of cooperation in international formats, including within the framework of the OSCE.
