The cleaning efforts have recommenced, and precautionary measures have been implemented in Batumi and Kobuleti, affected by the storm.

Heavy equipment is dispatched to cleanse the areas of the decimated infrastructure and organize defensive barricades.

A special commission is calculating the inflicted damage in the Adjara region.

“I would like to ask and instruct all agencies to finish all work and carry out cleaning works on time”, - said Tornike Rizhvadze the head of the Adjara Government.

He also pledged to assist entrepreneurs.

“We must support and assist all private individuals and entrepreneurs affected by the storm”, - added Rizhvadze.
