The President of Georgia meets scientists and representatives of the academic circle within the framework of the “Our Voice for Europe campaign.
“Europe is our future, it is a way to develop it, the most important thing, our human resources, potential. Development means not only personal development, but also professionalism, the return of fields that are practically disappearing in Georgia. Geologists, veterinarians, archaeologists - we need more. There are many fields where we need many more specialists.
We have gone through the tragedy of Shovi, probably we need many more glaciologists, we have 1-2 and it is unimaginable in such a country. We had a lot of geologists and this is also very important for the future. There are also environmental experts, all these directions, which mean the protection of the country, are what we should develop”, - said Salome Zourabichvili.
