Tina Bokuchava demands to raise the issue of responsibility of Levan Mgaloblishvili - what happened in the Parliament

Tina Bokuchava, the Chairperson of the United National Movement faction, demands to raise the issue of responsibility of Levan Mgaloblishvili, MP from the Georgian Dream.

“We demand that this MP be immediately checked to prove that he violates the rules of the Parliament, and the law and is in a state of alcohol intoxication in the session hall of the Parliament, where he uses obscene expressions against fellow MPs, and that this person be held accountable. With this request, we will personally address Gia Volski, who is today in the role of the Chairman of the Parliament session”, - said Tina Bokuchava.

MP from the Georgian Dream Levan Mgaloblishvili called today his opposition colleague Tina Bokuchava a “bastard”. His insulting remark was responded to by the MP from the United National Movement, Ana Tsitlidze. She threw papers at Mgaloblishvili. Then he removed the microphone and tried to throw it at Tsitlidze, but the supervisor intervened. Members of the majority took Levan Mgaloblishvili out of the meeting hall.

The situation became tense after Rati Bregadze evaluated the decision of the Strasbourg court on Mikheil Saakashvili’s case, at which time Bokuchava interrupted the Minister and told him that he was lying.
