The cooperation between Georgia and the European Union was discussed by Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the Georgian Dream and Paweł Herczyński, the EU Ambassador to Georgia.

The parties also talked about the European Commission’s recommendation for the European Council to grant Georgia the EU membership candidate status, reviewed the plans for the implementation of new recommendations outlined by the Commission.

Kobakhidze thanked Herczyński for his support and emphasized that the Ambassador had made “a significant contribution” to the positive decision by the Commission on Georgia’s candidacy.
