Minister of Internal Affairs held a meeting with the leadership of the Patrol Police Department. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Patrol Police Department, Vazha Siradze, his deputies and the heads of the main divisions of the same department of Tbilisi and regions.

At the working meeting, it was noted that the Ministry continues to improve both social and working conditions for police officers and upgrades police infrastructure. The parties discussed legislative changes made in the direction of road traffic safety and the results obtained in terms of its implementation. At the meeting, Vakhtang Gomelauri, received information on traffic accidents and crime statistics by the head of the patrol police department.

It was mentioned at the meeting that, as in previous years, the renewal of the patrol police department"s car fleet will continue in the future.

The representatives of the patrol police department provided the Minister of Internal Affairs with detailed information on the current situation in the direction of public order protection and road traffic safety.

Vakhtang Gomelauri gave instruction to the representatives of the patrol police department regarding the work process and thanked them for their work.

After the meeting, the director of the patrol police department handed over new patrol police vehicles to the heads of the main divisions of the regions.
