A Georgian man who stole 500 000 zlotys was arrested in Poland

A citizen of Georgia, who stole 500,000 Polish zlotys, was arrested in Poland. He stole more than USD 100 000 from a 41-year-old woman living in Katowice.

According to the investigation, the woman was returning home from the bank by car. While driving, she noticed that the tire was flat, stopped and got out. Two tires of the car were shot. When she returned, she did not find the bag with money.

After the incident, the 32-year-old man was hiding outside the country. He was arrested in one of the towns near Warsaw. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
