Public Defender Levan Ioseliani will present today an annual report on the state of human rights and freedoms protection.

MPs will have an opportunity to ask questions. Along with the activities of the Ombudsman, they will also be interested in his future plans.

As it known, in the reporting period – 2022 - 5,277 applications were submitted to the Office of the Public Defender, on which appropriate legal responses were made. 12 104 calls were made to the hotline to eliminate the identified rights violations. The Public Defender addressed 74 recommendations to the state agencies.
