The President of Georgia awarded 22-year-old Niko Kvaratskhelia, who was killed in Tbilisi, with the Medal of Honor.

“It is a very symbolic and important day. I don’t know how many days I have left as a president, but, if things develop like this, it would be very valuable to me if this is the last time that I am giving an award to such an important person and generation.

I want to imagine this day and this awarding like this”, - said Salome Zourabichvili.
