Immunization against seasonal flu will begin across Georgia in the second half of October.
The Ministry of Health purchased 200,000 Abbott Biologicals B.V. production 4-component vaccines, approved by the World Health Organization. According to the agency, the high-risk patients and elderly people will receive the jabs free of charge at Immunization Centres.
The National Center for Disease Control and Public Health will publish the list of medical institutions where seasonal flu vaccines will be available.
