US Secretary of State has announced that Washington will allocate over USD 1 billion to help Ukraine. Antony Blinken made the relevant statement during a press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
“We will continue to stand with Ukraine, and today we are announcing new assistance totaling over USD 1 billion as part of this joint effort. This includes USD 665.5 million in new military and civilian security assistance.
In total, we have provided over US$43 billion in security assistance since the beginning of the Russian aggression”, - said Blinken.
He also stated that the aid includes USD 175 million to “provide significant support for Ukraine’s air defense, which is an urgent need”.
