Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the operative-search measures and investigative activities carried out in recent period, removed illegal weapons and ammunition in Tbilisi and regions of the country.

8 persons have been arrested on charges of illegal purchase, storage and possession of firearms and ammunition.

The committed crime envisions from 3 to 7 years of imprisonment.
