The President of Georgia is starting meetings with European leaders in support of granting Georgia the status of a candidate country for EU membership with her visit to Germany.

Salome Zourabichvili already met the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Yesterday, August 30, the Government Administration released a statement on the issue of President’s visit abroad, where it is stated that Salome Zourabichvili was refused a visit to Germany and 9 other countries.
