List of medicines with reference prices has been enriched. Upper limit was set for over 2,300 medicines in total.
Antihypertensive, anticoagulant, antihistaminic, antibiotics, gastrointestinal, analgesic, anti-inflammatory drugs were added to existing list of medicines for treatment of chronic and oncological diseases.
Such price formation mechanism will affect more than 7, 000 medicines by the end of the year. As a result, the medicines actively circulating in the pharmaceutical market will be fully covered.
The reform is aimed at ensuring maximum access to medicines for citizens. As a result of the novelty, the price of pharmaceutical product will be decreased by 40% in average.
