Georgian Foreign Minister met Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Foreign Trade and the Federal Cultural Institutions, who arrived in Georgia within the framework of her South Caucasus tour.

The bilateral meeting focused on all the priorities defined by the two countries.

As Ilia Darchiashvili said, the support of Belgium, which will take up the Chairmanship of the European Council in 2024, is particularly significant for Georgia: “I thanked the minister for support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. I hope that Belgium will be one of the countries, which will loudly and strongly support Georgia’s European integration”.

In Tbilisi Hadja Lahbib will be also hosted by the President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili.
