Two people who died during the disaster in Shovi were buried in the village of Glola. The civil funeral of Genadi Sultanishvili and Sofo Bakuradze was held in the yard of the local school.

In Oni municipality search operations are ongoing both in the epicenter of the disaster and in the bed of the Rioni and Chanchakha rivers. At the moment, 90% of the land mass in the epicenter of the disaster has been searched.

Live force, heavy equipment and swimming means of transport are involved in the search operations. 25 bodies have been found within the scope of the rescue works, and the search for 8 people continues.
