Ambassador of Georgia in Japan, Teimuraz Lezhava, and his driver were attacked

The Japanese police is investigating a possible attack on Teimuraz Lezhava, the Ambassador of Georgia. The driver of Ambassador called the police and said that a man grabbed him by the collar near the Georgian Embassy.

The local media cites the police and the driver of the Embassy that the mentioned man stopped his car in front of the Ambassador’s car and opened the driver’s door. In the video from Lezhava’s Twitter, it can be seen that a man is pushing his hands through the Ambassador’s car.

The driver and the Ambassador were not injured as a result of the incident.
