Georgian Justice Minister responds to the Special Penitentiary Service statement and video footage showing a Polish doctor “trying to sneak out the paper-wrapped sample taken from Mikheil Saakashvili in his shoes”.

Rati Bregadze called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to request the Polish Embassy’s stance over the case “as it was involved in bringing Polish doctors to Georgia”.

“We call on everyone to refrain from provocative and illegal actions. Based on the fact that the Polish Embassy was involved in the process of bringing doctors and was also a recommender, I request the Minister of Foreign Affairs to hear the Embassy"s position regarding the incident”, - said the Minister.
