Kutaisi International Airport has opened 3 hours earlier than planned and is now operating normally.

According to the information of the airport’s administration, flights to Dortmund and Barcelona departed at 04:00 as planned.

“The sooner opening was made possible through the efforts of the Kutaisi International Airport team and the coordination of the Georgian Airports Union”, - reads the statement.

The temporary suspension of airport operations was due to heavy rainfall and precipitation.
