According to the United National Movement, the Georgian Dream representatives attacked the party Chairman in Kaspi during the presentation of a pension program.

As the UNM said, the ruling party activists tried to disrupt the meeting. During the confrontation, Levan Khabeishvili’s personal car was damaged and he was verbally abused. Police arrived at the conflict scene.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has started an investigation regarding the controversy. The investigation is being conducted under the Articles 126 (violence) and 187 (damage or destruction of property).
