Rainy weather, lightning, wind, and hail are expected in most parts of eastern Georgia on Thursday and Friday, June 22 - 23.

According to the National Environment Agency, the forecasted heavy rains may trigger flooding on Georgia’s small rivers, as well as landslides and mudslides in the country’s mountainous areas, the agency noted.
