Renewable Energy Investment Conference was held today in Tbilisi with the main goal to raise awareness of Renewable Energy development opportunities among the nation’s principal energy stakeholders and share insights.
Levan Davitashvili, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and John Pennell, Mission Director of USAID Georgia welcomed the audience.
Comments of John Pennell underscored how investments in clean and renewable energy generation will help Georgian consumers increase access to sustainable and affordable energy, reduce reliance on energy imports from other countries, and meet Georgia’s climate goals.
