The Parliament discussed for the III reading and adopted the Draft Organic Law on Common Courts with 83 votes.

The Draft has been developed in view of compliance with the EU recommendations; it was introduced to the plenary session by the Chair of the Legal Issues Committee, Anri Okhanashvili.

The Draft regulates the rule of appointment of the Judges to the Regional Courts and the Courts of Appeal and the assessment criteria for the Judges appointed for the tenure of 3 years, as well as the issue of public information of the judicial act.
