The Patriarchate of Georgia declares that distribution of children’s gift books with homosexual content in McDonald’s is a wicked and covert behavior.

“We believe that such an action is the propagation of false values, especially in Georgia, a country that has lived with Christian spiritual and cultural heritage for almost two thousand years.

What is most important and particularly worrying is the wicked and covert behavior of McDonald’s managers in relation to teenagers. And talking about wholesome food, which is mixed with spiritual poison, is a well-thought wicked move.

It is impossible for them not to understand what reaction would follow such disrespect - neglecting the centuries-old spiritual and cultural values and lifestyle of the country and its population”, - reads the statement.
