The US authorities intend to help Ukraine because of the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam. The corresponding statement was made by US President Joe Biden.

“We won’t leave. We are going to help Ukraine”, - he said.

On the night of June 6, Kyiv blew up the structures of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, which led to the flooding of large areas. As a result of the actions of Ukrainian militants, water from the reservoir began to flow uncontrollably downstream, as a result of which several settlements were flooded.
