The employees of Ajara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-search measures and investigative actions detained R.L. (DoB1988) for premeditated murder against a family member.

The crime envisions from 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person, in one of the villages of Khelvachauri municipality, on the basis of a mutual dispute, killed his brother - R.L. (DoB 1993) with a shot from a hunting rifle and hid from the scene.

Law enforcement officers arrested the R.L. shortly after the incident.

The police seized the weapon of crime - a hunting rifle - as evidence.

The investigation of the fact of premeditated murder of a family member is being conducted under Article 109 (11) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
