The first stage of the campaign – “Generation for the Future” started by the initiative of the Mayor of Rustavi and the Youth Department of the City Hall, which included a discussion with the students of public and private schools on issues of interest to them, ended with a meeting held at #28 public school.

Within the framework of the campaign, the mayor of the city Nino Latsabidze, along with successful Rustaveli athletes, musicians and other well-known faces, met about 1700 young people.

The mayor of Rustavi introduced the current and planned youth projects, programs, reforms, initiatives to senior students of public and private schools and answered their questions.

During the meetings, the mayor of Rustavi introduced another new project – “School Ambassador” to the young people.

Within the framework of the project, the school students themselves will choose one representative who will be a member of the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council and their own “school ambassador” in the Rustavi City Hall.
