75 years have passed since the establishment of the first library in Rustavi. New Rustavi, which was built on the site of the historical city and was granted city status in 1948, also turned 75 years old.
On the anniversary date, the mayor of Rustavi congratulated all the co-workers of the Library Association and presented special awards.
Nino Latsabidze also spoke with the employees of the library association about the ongoing reform in this field and the modern media library project, the construction of which is nearing completion.
At the event, the smallest and oldest readers and ordinary Rustavi residents who actively cooperate with the Rustavi Library Association were awarded. The anniversary year was celebrated by the Rustavi Library Union with a week full of various activities.
