“Fix Tbilisi” application to be launched from May 15. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.
“A few weeks ago, I informed the public about a specific application – “Fix Tbilisi”, which was created by the Municipal Services Development Agency. This software serves as an explicit channel of communication between the municipality and citizens, with an aim of facilitating the reporting of infrastructure damage within the capital city. Currently, citizens report any damage through the hotline or Facebook.
Frequently, they directly send me the related information, such as information about the damage to something in the park, the need to adjust the attraction, damage to road infrastructure or lighting etc. To this end, a corresponding application, namely “Fix Tbilisi”, is being designed, allowing anyone to report such issues promptly. Additionally, we are exceedingly motivated to resolve the aforementioned issues in a fast manner.
In case a person sees that an attraction in the park is damaged, he or she can take a photo with the mentioned application, indicate the address and send it. This information will be received by our respective departments, assuming responsibility for promptly resolving the issue at hand.
The application was supposed to come into force from May 1st, however due to Google play store and App store verification process which took some time, the application will be launched from May 15th.
At present, the application encompasses four distinct categories of issues, comprising damage to road infrastructure, damage to trees and plants, damage to outdoor lighting, and damage to park infrastructure. We aspire to increase this list over time to encompass additional categories”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
