Employees of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational-search measures and investigative actions detained several times convicted in past Z.B. (DoB 1968) on the basis of a judge"s order for failing to report a grave crime.

Previously convicted N.Z. (DoB 1977) and D.T. have also been detained by police as a result of immediate activities for premeditated murder.

The committed crime envisions up to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that D.T., who was under the influence of alcohol, inflicted fatal wounds to Z.E. born in (DoB 1989) with a cold steel in his rented apartment in Tbilisi on April 22 of the current year and fled the scene.

The investigation also established that the fact of murder was witnessed by N.Z. and Z.B., although they did not report the crime to the police.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 108 and 376 Part II of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to premeditated murder and failure to report a particularly serious crime.
