According to the FARA document, Nika Gilauri’s company hired a lobbyist company in the US for USD 600,000

The US Department of Justice, under FARA requirements, published a document, based on which former Prime Minister Nika Gilauri’s company Reformatics hired a lobbyist firm Continental Strategy in the US and has to pay USD 600,000 for its service.

“The company must provide advice and consultations on legal, political, and communication strategies, raise awareness of the US government on issues of US-Georgia bilateral relations, and organize regular meetings and video calls with the client to provide information about the firm’s work and plan future activities”, - reads the document.

Contract is dated to February 20, 2025. Signatory is Carlos Trujillo who served as the representative of The Organization of American States from 2018 to 2021.

“Reformatics is a boutique advisory firm, which has been working closely with public sector leaders around the world since 2012, helping them to design formulas and strategies for rapid economic growth as well as innovative approaches to public policy. The firm was established by Georgia’s former Prime Minister, Mr. Nika Gilauri, who leads Reformatics together with his former chief advisers on economic reform, the business sector and governance Ms. Tamara Kovziridze and Mr. Vakhtang Lejava”, - reads the published document.
