Six political unions will receive state funding based on results of parliamentary elections - CEC

Seven political unions would received state funding based on the results of the October 26 parliamentary elections. Such a statement was released by the Central Election Commission of Georgia.

"Starting from November 26, the 2nd day after the recognition of the newly elected Parliament’s powers, 7 political unions gained the right to receive the state funding: Georgian Dream party - Democratic Georgia, United National Movement, Coalition for Change - Gvaramia, Melia, Girchi, Droa, Gakharia for Georgia, Lelo for Georgia, Patriots’ Alliance, New Political Centre - Girchi.

The Coalition for Change - Gvaramia, Melia, Girchi, Droa refused to accept the state funding.

The deadline for political unions to refuse the funding based on the results of the parliamentary elections expired on Thursday, December 26", - reads the statement.
