A delegation of MEPs has arrived in Georgia. They have already spoken to members of the opposition. Meetings with the President, civil society representatives and journalists are planned.

Before their arrival, MEP Rasa Juknevičienė wrote on social media that they are coming to Tbilisi to express solidarity with Georgians fighting for a European future.

A delegation of European Parliament members is visiting Georgia to express solidarity with the country’s citizens fighting for a European future.

The delegation includes:

* Michał Szczerba (Poland, EPP)
* Nathalie Loiseau (France, Renew Europe)
* Bernard Guetta (France, Renew Europe)
* Tobias Kremer (Germany, Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats – S&D)
* Rienier van Lanschot (Netherlands, Greens/European Free Alliance).
