Defense Minister has arrived in Bolnisi Municipality, where the Su-25 belonging to the Defense Forces crashed.

Irakli Chikovani, the Commander of the Defense Forces and all relevant services are present at the scene of the plane crash.

For several hours now, investigative activities are underway at the scene of the accident.

The Ministry of Defense has confirmed today that the Su-25 of the Georgian Defense Forces Air Command has crashed near the military airport in Bolnisi, during what is described as “routine training.” The pilot - Kakhaber Zurabishvili - is reported dead.
