Million doses of Pfizer will arrive in Georgia at the end of July - Amiran Gamkrelidze

Million doses of Pfizer will arrive in Georgia at the end of July. Such a statement made today the Head of the National Center for Disease Control.

“Vaccination with Sinovac will continue. Up to 5 000 people have already been vaccinated, and 13 000 are in the queue. The stock for the first dose of Sinovac is at around 50 000. The same is required for the second dose. There are 75 000 doses of Sinovac. That is, anyone who wants and needs a vaccination can sign up for Sinovac. I know that there were problems while registering in Tbilisi, but tomorrow places will be added, and it will be easier for those wishing to register on Sinovac.

A large batch of Pfizer vaccines is also expected in the second half of July. Pfizer vaccines will be available everywhere. Storage facilities in Georgia increased compared to December last year. Apart from Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Batumi, we have 80-degree refrigeration equipment in different regions of the country”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
