The EU technical mission will of course be met by a technical group from us – Irakli Kobakhidze

Acting Prime Minister of Georgia expressed readiness to engage with the European Union’s technical mission over alleged irregularities in the October 26 parliamentary elections.

Speaking on Imedi LIVE, Irakli Kobakhidze announced a Georgian technical team would cooperate with the mission to address their inquiries.

“The technical mission will of course be met by a technical group from us. If there is interest, we ask the representatives of our agencies to meet with the EU representatives, we will find out what their interests are and based on that, of course, we will answer all questions”, - added Irakli Kobakhidze.

Josep Borrell, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, earlier this month spoke about deploying a technical mission to Georgia.
