A total of 800 free beds are left for COVID-patients. Such a statement made today the Deputy Health Minister.

“Pressure on hospitals from the surge in coronavirus patients has peaked, with 82% of hospital beds being full [3600 beds out of 4400]. More than 5,000 patients provided with intensive care. 90 being in resuscitation units connected to ventilators.

COVID hotels in Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi are also struggling to cope with the demands of COVID”, - explained Tamar Gabunia.

She also said that the Government may add covid hotels.

3.38% tested individuals had coronavirus in the past 14 days.
