The number of infected people in Lagodekhi is increasing. The spread of the coronavirus is likely linked to a church cluster from which up to 50 people have already tested positive.

As Neli Khizanishvili, head of the Kakheti branch of the National Center for Disease Control, said, extended testing is planned in several villages in Lagodekhi for prevention.

As for the infected, their number has increased to 70 this month. Among them are clergy, children and teachers.
