The trial of actor Andro Chichinadze, comedian Onise Tskhadadze and 9 other individuals is currently underway. The preventive measure imposed - imprisonment - will be reviewed at today’s hearing.

Actors and relatives have gathered in their support.

The detainees – Andro Chichinadze, Onise Tskhadadze, Jano Archaia, Ruslan Sivakov, Luka Jabua, Guram Mirtskhulava, Valeri Tetrashvili, Giorgi Terishvili, Irakli Kerashvili, Revaz Kinadze and Sergey Kukharchuk – were charged under Part 2 of Article 225 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertains to participation in group violence. 

The crime is punishable by 4 to 6 years of imprisonment.
