To mark Day of Mourning, the national flag is flown half-staff over the building of the Government Administration of Georgia.

On the decision of the Government of Georgia, January 9 has been declared Day of Mourning to honor the memory of the victims of the recent fire in the village of Saberio, Gali District, in the territory of occupied Abkhazia.

Based on the executive order signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, national flags are flown half-staff across the territory of Georgia.
