More than 500 people will be employed in the construction of a 5-star hotel and residences in Tsikhisdziri, the investment will amount to USD 80 million. The Minister of Economy said this at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a Pullman-branded hotel and residences at the Petra Sea Resort in Tsikhisdziri, Adjara region.
Levan Davitashvili attended the event with Tornike Rizhvadze, Chairman of the Government of Adjara, representatives from Accor Group and its brand Pullman, the project’s international tourism brand partners.
“This is exactly how we envision the development of tourism infrastructure in the coming years. When we speak of ambitious plans to grow tourism in Georgia by 2028, including new accommodation facilities, we mean high-quality infrastructure that will allow us to attract visitors with higher purchasing power
The plans presented by the Prime Minister during the election program presentation are not mere virtual promises but are backed by concrete projects like the Pullman development.
The 5-star hotel and residences project will be fully operational by the end of 2028. The construction phase alone will create over 500 jobs, with an additional 250 permanent positions once the project is completed.
The project represents an investment of approximately USD 80 million. Upon completion, it will add new high-quality accommodation capacity to Georgia’s tourism sector.
It is important for us to facilitate the influx of tourists with higher purchasing power into Georgia, which is a significant component of the country’s economic development”, - said Levan Davitashvili.
